Authenticated command execution via unchecked PHP upload
Published Feb 17, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in posts.php in Baby Care System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through uploaded PHP files. The administrative post handler accepts an uploaded filename without validating its suffix and stores the file where the web server exposes it. Administrative access is required; successful exploitation installs a web shell that runs commands with the web application's privileges.
