Pixel redirection via unvalidated NVENC library loading
Published May 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Uncontrolled DLL loading in Teradici PCoIP Graphics Agent for Windows before 21.03 allows local users to redirect encoded pixels. The agent loads NVENC.dll without validating the library, allowing a replacement DLL to receive pixels supplied for encoding. Replacing the DLL requires local filesystem access and user interaction; the documented consequence is pixel redirection.
