Privilege escalation in Avaya IP Office Admin Lite and USB Creator before 11.1 Feature Pack 2 Service Pack 2 allows local users to gain SYSTEM privileges. Windows Installer repair operations run temporary-file actions from SYSTEM context, allowing an authenticated local user with low privileges to execute files as SYSTEM. Exploitation requires local access and no user interaction; the resulting compromise affects confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the host.
