Client-session script execution via stored feedback
Published Jan 28, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Testes de Codigo 11.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in client sessions. The feedback message handler stores attacker-controlled markup in the remote database without neutralizing it before the feedback list renders. A user must submit feedback and another user must open that list on the website or mobile app, exposing the viewer's session data and displayed content.
