CVE-2021-25526

Local content access via intent redirection

Published Dec 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Intent redirection in Samsung Blockchain Wallet before 1.3.02.8 allows local users to access arbitrary content providers. Samsung identifies intent redirection as the mechanism but does not disclose the affected Android component or how it forwards an untrusted intent with the wallet's privileges. Exploitation requires a malicious application on the same device; no user interaction is required, and exposed provider data can be read.
