Permanent denial of service via exception mishandling

Improper exception handling in Samsung Mobile Devices R(11.0) SystemUI allows local users with shell privileges to cause permanent denial of service. SystemUI mishandles an exceptional multi_sim_bar_hide_by_meadia_full value, causing a crash from which the affected device cannot recover. Exploitation requires preexisting shell privilege, and service cannot be restored without a factory reset.
