Improper address validation in RKP on Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR JUN-2021 Release 1 allows local users to make EL2 memory writable. RKP accepts an EL1-originated memory-attribution change without properly excluding protected EL2 addresses. Exploitation requires prior EL1 compromise on Android 10 or 11 devices using specified Exynos chipsets and permits writes to protected hypervisor memory.
