Information disclosure in Samsung DeX on Android 9, 10, and 11 allows local users to read notification data via a malicious app. NotificationBnRReceiver accepts an app-supplied SAVE_PATH and writes notification_policy.xml into that world-readable external-storage path. A locally installed malicious app can broadcast the backup request and copy the transient file, exposing notification contents without altering device data.
