Improper access control in SmartThings before 1.7.63.6 allows remote attackers to cause a temporary service interruption through a network port. Samsung identifies only a certain port and does not disclose the port, request format, or access-control operation that accepts untrusted traffic. No authentication or user action is required, but the published adjacent-network vector limits reachability to attackers on a shared or otherwise adjacent network.
