PendingIntent hijacking in Samsung Secure Folder on Android 11 before SMR APR-2021 Release 1 allows local users to access contacts. Secure Folder wraps an implicit intent in a PendingIntent, allowing another application to resolve and hijack the contact-access action. A malicious application installed on an affected device needs no privileges or user interaction and can read contact information, with no reported write or service impact.
