Service interruption via unresolved provider hijacking

Improper authentication in Samsung SMP SDK before 3.0.9 allows local users to interrupt service by hijacking an unresolved provider. The SDK calls a provider that does not exist, allowing another local application to claim the unresolved provider identity and receive the call without authentication. No privileges or user interaction are required; the published impact is limited to unauthorized actions and service interruption.
