Improper authentication in Samsung Assistant before 6.5.01.22 allows local users to interrupt the app through provider hijacking. The app calls a nonexistent provider and accepts a hijacked provider without authenticating its identity; Samsung has not disclosed the provider name or call site. Exploitation needs no existing Assistant privileges or user interaction, and the documented consequence is limited to service interruption.
