Administrator-session script execution via unsanitized form values
Published Apr 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS and CSRF in Skyworth Digital Technology RN510 3.1.0.4 allow remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The Boa web interface stores unsanitized DestIPAddress and urlitem values at /cgi-bin/net-routeadd.asp and /cgi-bin/sec-urlfilter.asp and accepts state-changing POSTs without CSRF validation. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator's browser to submit a crafted request and render the stored payload, enabling unauthorized route or URL-filter changes and script execution in that session.
