Credential disclosure via unauthenticated diagnostic endpoint
Published Apr 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Incorrect access control in Skyworth Digital Technology RN510 firmware 3.1.0.4 allows remote attackers to read Wi-Fi and web UI passwords. The /cgi-bin/test_version.asp handler returns wireless SSIDs, their passwords, and web UI credentials without authenticating the request. The requester must be able to reach the device over its Wi-Fi network; disclosure grants credentials for the wireless network and management interface.
