Insecure temporary-file handling in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server s390-tools allows local users to prevent VM live migrations. The detach_disks.sh script uses static, predictable temporary filenames instead of creating unique files safely. A low-privileged local user can interfere with those files during disk detachment, causing migration failure without reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
