CVE-2021-25246Network attack vector

Configuration disclosure via bogus agent registration

Published Feb 4, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Improper access control in Apex One, OfficeScan XG SP1, and Worry-Free Business Security allows remote attackers to read configuration data. The web console accepts an unauthenticated bogus-agent registration and then authorizes that agent to issue valid configuration queries. Network access to the management server is sufficient; the documented consequence is configuration disclosure and limited integrity impact, not service interruption.
