Unauthenticated scan exception disclosure via web-console access bypass
Published Feb 4, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper access control in Trend Micro Apex One 2019 and SaaS and OfficeScan XG SP1 allows remote attackers to read scan exception data. The web console on TCP port 4343 fails to enforce access control before returning the contents of a scan connection exception file. No authentication is required; exposure is limited to information in that file, with no reported ability to modify settings or interrupt protection.
