Memory exhaustion in vsapiapp in Trend Micro ServerProtect for Linux 3.0 allows local users to interrupt scanning via crafted files. The executable fails to validate user-supplied file data before processing it, allowing memory consumption to grow until service is denied. Exploitation requires low-privileged code execution and the crafted file to be scanned, and the reported effect is limited to availability.
