CVE-2021-25161Network attack vector

Authenticated script execution via reflected management input

Published Mar 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Reflected XSS in Aruba Instant affected releases allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a management-interface user's browser. The web-based management interface reflects crafted input into a response without neutralizing executable browser content; HPE does not identify the parameter or handler. Exploitation requires management-interface access and user interaction, and the script runs only in that user's interface context.
