Unauthenticated privileged code execution via PAPI packets

Buffer overflow in Aruba Instant's PAPI service allows remote attackers to execute privileged code through crafted UDP packets. The UDP port 8211 PAPI handler mishandles specially crafted packets, but HPE has not disclosed the affected routine or unchecked operation. No authentication or user interaction is required; affected releases end at 6.4.4.8-4.2.4.17, 6.5.4.16, 8.3.0.12, 8.5.0.6, and 8.6.0.2.
