Denial of service in HPE and Aruba L2/L3 switch firmware allows local users to crash or reboot a switch via its management interface. The management interface performs data processing without correctly handling an unexpected data type in administrator-supplied information. Exploitation requires administrator privileges and can terminate the management interface or reboot the entire switch, interrupting network operations.
