Data compromise via certificate-generation buffer overflow

A local buffer overflow in HPE Cloudline BMC firmware allows local users to corrupt memory through SSL certificate generation. The spx_restservice generateSSLcertificate_func function overflows a local buffer while processing attacker-controlled certificate-generation input. Low-privileged local access to the BMC is required; exploitation can disclose or alter BMC data and crash its management service.
