Administrator script execution via unescaped error parameter
Published Feb 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in Global Programming WHMCS Bridge before 6.4b allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser. The cc-ce-bridge-cp settings page inserts the error query parameter into admin-dashboard output without sanitizing or escaping it. Exploitation requires an administrator to open a crafted settings-page URL, allowing script execution in that administrator's WordPress session.
