CVE-2021-25082Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unsanitized PHP require parameter

Published Feb 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Local file inclusion in Sygnoos Popup Builder before 4.0.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code via sgpb_type. The request handler passes the unsanitized sgpb_type value into a PHP require statement, permitting attacker-controlled paths and stream wrappers. Exploitation requires low-privilege access plus the ability to place a crafted archive on the server; successful PHAR inclusion runs its embedded PHP code.
