Authenticated script execution via unescaped search parameter
Published Jan 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in WP Booking System – Booking Calendar before 2.0.15 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via admin search. The wpbs-calendars and wpbs-forms admin views place the unescaped s query parameter into an HTML attribute, so crafted markup becomes executable script. Exploitation requires authentication and a victim to open the crafted URL; script then runs in the victim's browser within that session's page context.
