Published Feb 21, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Igloo The Buffer Button 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a Twitter mention value. The plugin stores the Twitter username-to-mention setting and inserts it into generated button markup without neutralizing HTML or script syntax. An authenticated account that can change the plugin setting is required, and execution occurs when a user loads output containing the saved value.
