Stored XSS via unescaped field labels
Published Jul 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Saturday Drive Ninja Forms before 3.6.10 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through field labels. The form builder stores field-label HTML without sufficient sanitization and renders the label without output escaping in the editor and embedded forms. Administrator-level access is required, unfiltered_html must be disabled or WordPress multisite used, and a victim must view the poisoned form.
