Remote code execution via forged file inclusion
Published Jan 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Remote file inclusion in Wow-Company WP Coder before 2.5.2 allows remote attackers to execute PHP through a forged admin request. The wow-company admin page passes the attacker-controlled tab parameter to include(), accepting PHP files and data:// or http:// URLs. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to follow the crafted request, and URL-based inclusion also requires PHP allow_url_include to be enabled.
