CVE-2021-25045Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator SQL injection via unescaped forum identifier

Published Jan 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

SQL injection in Asgaros Forum before 1.15.15 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to alter database queries. The forum-editing handler inserts the forum_id POST parameter into an SQL statement without validation or escaping, so crafted syntax changes the query. An administrator session and valid request nonce are required; successful injection can read or modify data or interrupt database-backed service.
