Reflected XSS via unescaped HTML attributes
Published Jan 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in WebDorado Event Calendar WD before 1.1.51 allows remote attackers to execute script in a visitor's browser. The event-popup AJAX response places the POST id value into an HTML attribute without escaping, while the settings page likewise reflects tab into an attribute. Exploitation requires a visitor to submit or follow a crafted request and trigger the injected event, exposing data or actions available to that browser session.
