Stored XSS via unchecked AJAX attribute settings
Published Jan 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce before 11.0.7 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through AJAX settings. The woosea_add_attributes AJAX action accepts attacker-controlled attribute names and values without authorization or output escaping, storing markup that the feed workflow later renders. Any authenticated account can submit the payload, but execution occurs only when an administrator reaches the second feed-creation page, exposing that administrator's browser session to script execution.
