Stored XSS via unsanitized lead values
Published Dec 27, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in ThemeHunk Lead Form Builder & Contact Form before 1.6.4 allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser. The unauthenticated Save_Form_Data AJAX action stores crafted lead fields, including name_1, without sanitizing or escaping them before the leads page renders the values. Execution requires a logged-in administrator to view the inserted lead and is bounded to that administrator's browser context.
