Administrator browser script execution via unescaped configuration ID
Published Mar 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in TinyWebGallery Advanced iFrame before 2022 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The plugin's advanced-iframe.php administration page returns the POST ai_config_id value in HTML without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to load attacker-controlled content that submits the crafted form, and the injected script runs in the WordPress origin.
