Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped AJAX parameter
Published Mar 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Tatvic Conversios before 4.6.2 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries through an AJAX request. The tvcajax_product_sync_bantch_wise action inserts the sync_progressive_data parameter into a SQL statement without sanitization, validation, or escaping. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the published proof of concept demonstrates a time-based database delay rather than data extraction.
