Subscriber-level object injection and stored XSS
Published Mar 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
PHP object injection and stored XSS in ThemeMove Insight Core 1.0 allow remote authenticated users to inject executable content. The insight_customizer_options_import handler passes an unvalidated uploaded option value to unserialize and returns it without sanitization or escaping. Subscriber access is sufficient; exploitation can instantiate available PHP classes or persist script that executes across frontend pages.
