CVE-2021-24948Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated post disclosure via unvalidated AJAX query

Published Jan 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Information disclosure in The Plus Addons for Elementor Pro before 5.0.7 allows remote attackers to retrieve private or draft posts. The tp_get_dl_post_info_ajax AJAX action accepts an unvalidated qvquery value that controls its post query, including post status and type. An unauthenticated request needs a nonce exposed in page source; successful exploitation reads unpublished content without changing it.
