Authenticated voter data disclosure via unchecked export
Published Dec 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in LikeBtn Like Button Rating before 2.6.38 allows remote authenticated users to export voter email and IP addresses. The likebtn_export_votes AJAX action exports stored vote records without an authorization check and accepts requests without CSRF validation. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; CSRF exploitation additionally requires an authenticated user to submit an attacker-controlled request, and exposure is limited to voter email and IP addresses.
