Database disclosure via unescaped AJAX export identifier
Published Dec 6, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Secure Copy Content Protection and Content Locking before 2.8.2 allows remote attackers to read WordPress database data. The ays_sccp_results_export_file handler inserts the unescaped sccp_id array into a SQL statement, allowing UNION clauses to change the query. No authentication is required because the AJAX action is public; the published proof of concept extracts password hashes and email addresses.
