Reflected XSS via unescaped domain parameter
Published Feb 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in Domain Check before 1.0.17 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via the domain parameter. The Domain Check Profile handler places the query value into the settings page without sanitization or output escaping, so HTML and JavaScript are interpreted by the browser. An authenticated session and navigation to a crafted profile-page URL are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code in that browser context.
