Reflected XSS via unescaped attribute parameter
Published Nov 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in WPChill Check & Log Email before 1.0.4 allows remote attackers to run script via a crafted d parameter. The plugin writes the unescaped d query value into an HTML attribute, so quote characters can terminate the attribute and introduce executable markup. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL; attacker-supplied script then runs in that victim's browser context with the victim's session access.
