Stored XSS via unescaped Publish ID setting
Published Dec 27, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in the Typebot WordPress plugin before 1.4.3 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to inject script. The settings handler stores the Publish ID without sanitization, and the admin panel renders it without output escaping. Administrator access and later interaction with the affected admin panel are required; injected script executes in that viewer's browser.
