Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped field keys

Published Nov 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

SQL injection in Saturday Drive Ninja Forms before 3.6.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute injected SQL via field keys. The submission editor places attacker-controlled keys from the fields POST parameter into database queries without escaping them. An Administrator-level WordPress account and a valid submission-edit request are required; the verified proof of concept executes a time-delay query through wp-admin/post.php.
