Administrator SQL injection via unescaped task IDs
Published Jan 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in RegistrationMagic before 5.0.1.6 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries through an AJAX request. The rm_chronos_ajax duplicate_tasks_batch handler inserts attacker-controlled task_ids values into a SQL statement without escaping them. Administrator-level access and at least one existing task are required; successful exploitation enables arbitrary SQL operations against the WordPress database.
