Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped bulkcheck
Published Dec 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Quotes Collection through 2.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL via the bulkcheck parameter. The plugin inserts bulkcheck into a SQL statement without validation or escaping, allowing crafted input to alter query semantics. Access requires an authenticated administrator-level WordPress account, and successful exploitation can read or modify database data and disrupt service.
