Admin-level SQL injection via unescaped sort parameters
Published Nov 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in BannerSky BSK PDF Manager before 3.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries via admin parameters. The administrative listing handler inserts the orderby and order request parameters into an SQL statement without validation or escaping. Administrator-level WordPress access and at least one PDF category are required; the published proof of concept demonstrates attacker-controlled query delays.
