Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized offset
Published Nov 17, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in SEO Redirection Plugin – 301 Redirect Manager before 8.2 allows remote authenticated users to alter database data via AJAX. The importFromRedirection AJAX action inserts the attacker-controlled offset parameter into a SQL statement without proper sanitization, when the Redirection plugin is also installed. Subscriber-level authentication is sufficient; crafted requests can affect database confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
