Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized sort parameter
Published Dec 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Ni WooCommerce Custom Order Status before 1.9.7 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries via sort. The get_query() function inserts the AJAX action's attacker-controlled sort value into an SQL statement without adequate sanitization. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the verified time-delay proof of concept confirms attacker-controlled SQL evaluation.
