Administrator script execution via unsanitized buyer names
Published Dec 27, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Tickera – Sell Tickets & Manage Events before 3.4.8.3 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The booking flow stores Buyer Info first or last names without adequate sanitization, and the Orders dashboard outputs those values without escaping. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated event booking followed by an administrator viewing Orders, exposing the administrator's WordPress origin and session to the injected script.
