Gallery deletion via missing CSRF validation
Published Dec 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Phoeniixx Filter Portfolio Gallery 1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to induce administrators to delete galleries. The phoen_filter_gallery administration page accepts a delete_id query value and deletes the referenced gallery without validating a CSRF token. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open the crafted URL, and the demonstrated consequence is deletion of the selected gallery.
