Administrator SQL injection via unsanitized sort parameters
Published Nov 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in DraftPress Header Footer Code Manager before 1.1.14 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries. The Snippets administration dashboard places the orderby and order request parameters into a SQL statement without validation or escaping. WordPress administrator access is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates attacker-controlled time-delay queries.
